The Basics of Roullete
Roullete, or Roulette, is one of the most popular casino games. It is easy to understand and has low house edge compared to other casino games. The game was developed in France and then brought to the United States where it became a major gambling game. The game is played with a spinning wheel and a betting table, which is sometimes called a layout. A croupier or dealer runs the game and makes sure that players are following the rules. The wheel consists of a solid wooden disk slightly convex in shape with thirty-six compartments, or pockets, around its rim.
